    hopefully american TV will be more inclined to bring japanese opponents over for fights. that guy showed tremendous courage, and a level of poise / skill under fire that goes beyond his lack of physical talent and punching power.


    he had omar figueroa on the ropes and he threw almost 1200 punches. awesome fight.

    awesome card.

        Not really, he is a bum.

        Jeff Lacy was called a bum after Calzaghe, this Jap is a bum with no power. He took a lot of shots, but so did Lacy.

                    Just finished watching this fight. 12 rounds of brutal warfare. I hope they'll showcase Arakawa (he needs a nickname so we can identify him easier) on Showtime again. Or any network for that matter. Props should be given to Omar as well as he won comfortably but not to what the scorecards would suggest.

                      great warrior from arakawa nothing but respect to the guy, the crowd loved him.

                      i went back to the hotel and i saw his family waiting for him. 3am and they were still outside. i hope he's okay
