    Top 10? Almost certainly.
Yea I agree. I can't put Wlad top 5, but I have him top 10.

Wlad is a very good contender in the over all history of Heavyweights. He would struggle to break in the top twenty-five for sure!
He doesn't react well to getting punched hard in the face, try to remember!
He's fought stiffs for years now, Big Sam was alot for him to handle and Sam isn't in the top 65!!!!!

        Ray.
BIG SAM?? Who is he? Do you mean Sam Peter?? If you do, then you are on the wrong track. My recollection is that Klitschko wanted that fight very badly and said on camera that he would show that he had a good chin. The KDs were fake, and this was pointed out by the commentators, the first being a rabbit punch, the second not even being a hit at all but a shoulder grab and push-down. The third might have been a graze but Klitschko was going backwards so fast that he tripped back into the ropes bounced to the canvas and got up immediately. This was rd 10 and Peter was done-overdone by then.

I think the judges scored all the other rounds for Klitschko who gave Peter a real boxing lesson and his first defeat. And he proved that Peter's best shots couldn't even shake him.

If I'm wrong and you mean someone else I apologise. Your placing is arguable but not outrageous.

Top 5 is probably pushing it. I might squeeze him in top 10 though. He is definitely better than a lot of people give him credit for. Unfortunately he hasn't had the best people to fight to really prove himself. I get the sense that he is quite happy with fighting weak opponents though.

actually it would be rather easy to argue against him being the greatest.

If you didn't care about whether you were right or wrong then you could argue anything, I suppose.

No, I mean Peters and my point is he was no where near a great contender !!!
If you continue to fight and beat mediocre competition your legacy doesn't grow!!! Why should Wlad get credit for such an accomplishment, Joe Louis never got points for the bum of the month club but atleast Louis had to fight!! He liked eating, the Klitz can go home from todays over priced prize fighters pay outs!!
Everyone on this forum can only make references about a record or opponents no one ever discusses form and technique! If fans here would stop and learn something abvout boxing other than reading records and counting bogus titles they'd have an intelligent way to compare fighters from different era's! Its not all about how tall & how much he weighs or which god awfull opponent he beat! Its about boxing techniques and methods to win.
Its not Wlads fault the competition has been bad for yearsbut he can't get credit for being great when his skill level is average in almost every element in a pro boxers repitiore! He is the Champ isn't that enough, why does a fellow who can' tie anyone up or punch fluidly in combination or step up and eliminate guys he's supposed to eliminate!!! He's a good fighter, he's NOT great! Ray

Right, now ask that to any boxing fan that isn't delusional and see how many replies you get agreeing.

99% of the posters here are either ******ed or deluded, so I don't really care about how many wrong opinions are being floated on this board.

I put K-bros at 9-10 and that's off of skillset. Resume makes it impossible for me to go higher. In all actuality I'd put Vitali in the 10-15 range. Sure on paper they'd be hard to beat. But who knows, the only great they fought was Lewis and that was an L.
