Garcia isn't a slow starter like Matthysse was. Matthysse was awfully bad and I always said if he could some how fix that problem he would be killing people left and right. I just didn't think he'd do it because I've seen so many great fighters like WarGODito being unable to fix that problem. Well he did it and we all see the results.
It's not fair to judge Matthysse on the Judah or Alexander fights he wasn't as good then as he is now.

He thinks Matthysse wins by KO.I wonder why that is. So now you should know exactly where I stand on the results of this fight. There is no need to quote me or debate me. We will all know who the better man is in 8 weeks. By the way I also thought old man Morales hurt Garcia but that must have just been more of my wishful thinking. I am wishfully thinking Matthysse will knock Garcia out in 6 rounds or less so we will see.

I thought both guys beat Judah. This fight between Matthysse and Garcia is the fight hard core fans want to see. I like both fighters the same. Once I seen Garcia beat Holt I became a fan of his.
I thought Matthysse beat Alexander and Judah but he didn't get the nod to me the machine Matthysse is undefeated and is one of the strongest power punchers in the game right now. I" am still for one reason going for Garcia in this one.
I have seen him hurt and come back and win. I think he has the punch to hurt Matthysse if he lands that left hook that he throws with all his might it can be a KO victory for swift. Then again Matthysse might blitz Garcia in three. You never know this is way I like this match up so much.

I also believe that height will be a bigger factor than people believe. Garcia is taller and naturally bigger than Matthysse. Funnily enough it looked like his punches effected Judah more, especially rounds 5 and 6 where he made Judah do a funny stanky leg.... and of course the knockdown. Garcia is a bit like a Broner with less handspeed.
Thos os a 50/50 fight. Matthysse has faster hands and is much lighter on his feet, but Garcia is naturally big and has deceptive speed and great timing.
Danny outworked, outboxed Zab Judah from the opening bell, parrying his shots and countering over the top with a straight right that made him wobble throughout the fight. Danny definitely showed that he is much more versatile than Matthyse who gets frustrated and tried to move off instinct. Danny Garcia uses his brain more...

I think Matthysse is also smart though he's good at gauging the distance and timing his shots.

Zab caught him with a good left straight down the pipe and then quickly circled behind him and Danny was a bit disorientated because he couldn't see where Zab was, I could understand how you could interpret it as him being hurt but objectively speaking he wasn't.
