Lol, your whole argument is just laughable at this stage it is just all about how many asses you put in seats and how many viewers can you you get to their tv. Do you really think that people who watched Rigo were loved his pergormance but Merchant said he was boring so they are not going to watch him anymore. People want to be entertained and they choose not like Rigo because he has what most consider a boring style. Does it take skill to do what he does? Yes. Is it entertaining? Most would say not.
What's really sad is that a most of people supporting Rigo just don't want to admit that what Merchant is saying is just the plain truth. And most just do it just to keep up with this ****** front of being a "hardcore boxing fan".
Yea Rigo is not Puerto Rican so I got you..

If Puig was a relatively boring, uncharismatic, black Cuban who doesn't speak English, he would get Rigo's treatment. No doubt in my mind. On the flip side, I'll bet anything that a "boring" white American fighter who's kicking ass would not be rejected from any network. If you don't agree, then there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.

Luckily for Rigo, he's one of the best below 135 and is a title-holder. He will hopefully jump ship soon. There are few exclusive match-ups that TR can offer him that actually make sense.
Donaire gets matched up with the likes of Arce/Darchinyan so he can dispatch of them in exciting fashion, but why can't Rigo get the same opportunity?Last edited by kiaba360; 07-13-2013, 02:33 PM.

Just to amuse myself, I'll bite. There was this guy named Calderon who just like Rigo would school other boxers yet he couln't sell **** to the mainstream public, was I *****ing and moaning at how he couldn't get HBO dates and 500k paydays. But as normal human being, understand that HBO is a business and they need to make money.
