    The WBC will present the winner of the megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez with a solid gold belt. The fight takes place on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

    This belt is earned for sheer excellence, but also to honor the careers of both fighters, who've been steadfastly loyal to the WBC. The other accolade is that of the best pound for pound. Both boxers go into this fight undefeated.

    Also, the belt is to honor both there careers? Canelos is dog**** besides Trout, whom he looked average against... wat?

      Naked dancing girls in the ring showering gold dust onto the fans? What's next! Did you hear about stuff like this for the Thrilla in Manilla or the Rumble in the Jungle? Great matchups don't need this sort of cheap crap.

                  So sad when u see their achievements side by side. They needed help with canelos achievements so they put a freaking nabf, youth title and a vacant silver title.... Hahaha

                    nice..i wonder if Oscar is having that bonus for ko of the night too,hopefully they put on good fighters and the undercard and make it worth all that money they will be charging
