Matthysse seems very eager to fight Garcia, but not so much the other way around it seems. Should Lucas defeat Peterson, surely this is the fight to be made at 140. What are your thoughts and predictions for this fight?

As you can see here when asked about fighting his mandatory Lucas Matthysse (should he beat Peterson), from 5:55+ Danny basically just says Al Haymon tells him what to do, then Oscar takes the mic and gives out a very long drawn out retort with no real answer.

Garcia seems resilient but I think Matthysse is going to knock him out. Garcia throws the same punches the same way and swings wide......he is gonna get caught.

Danny's never called anyone out or said he wanted to fight anyone in public so now that he's the champ I don't think he'll start. As far as this fight is concerned, I think Matthysse may be able to pressure and put away Garcia mid to late rounds.

assuming Matthysse gets past Peterson, who, his last time out either looked really good or his opponent Kendall Holt looked really bad, then I think Matthysse will win by KO. I was there at the fight last night, Garcia looked rattled by some of Judah's shots in the tenth round. Matthysse hits wayyyyyy harder. Plus Garcia technically was all over the place last night, despite getting the win, he was basically a one punch fighter for the first nine rounds, and he won't be able to get away with that against the Argentine.

Honestly Garcia doesn't seem to have good stamina. He has very minimal foot movement, and doesn't throw anymore then the JWW average, and he still got tired by rd 9-10 last night.

I think Matthysse wears him down by pressing the action, and stops him late.

I think Lucas would overpower Garcia. Lucas chin has prove very solid so far. Lucas would take what Garcia could give, but no vice versa.

Danny's been very impressive lately, but Matthysse is a whole nother proposition.

Danny can't use his power counter shots to intimidate, and make Lucas hesitant. He's coming for you regardless, and he's defensively responsible with a vrey good chin. He cracks just as hard, if not, harder than anyone at 140, and the best body punching in boxing.

He beats Danny everywhere. Lucas in a long, hard fought battle. Lucas UD/TKO/Corner towel/ref stoppage.

Danny's too tough to quit.

Great fight. Garcia has proving me wrong a few times now. The kid knows how to get the job done. But Matthyse is a whole different animal. I give matthyse the slight edge but would not be surprised if garcia beats him.

dnny did much better against judah so theres no reason not to pick danny or lucas

no way in hell he gets past peterson so it wont happen

but yea he has a punchers chance but i see danny out boxing him
