well he was an olympic medalist; he wasn't just plucked out of thin air. he clearly isn't cut out for the pros though.

Lennox gave Corrie Sanders some advise before Corrie ktfo Vlad Klitschko. Which Corrie acknowledged he was grateful for.

Yea, let's blame Price's loss on Lennox.

The same thing can be said about the HW that the Klit brothers been fighting.. Those guys never had the skills to beat the Klit brothers in the first place. LL knows boxing and it's not like he give bad advice so no need to diss him.
Im with you on this lewis aint no fool. just in the way he's patriotic in his ways and as a result he's looking for a british heavyweight successor like himself I was always a big fan of lewis frm the beggining, bt its misplaced... nt a fault of lewis! he see's in price a very talented big man, bt it just happends he's nt gt the minerals. i werent gonna mention it bt ive just won 60 quid on it at 15 quid on a 4 to 1 tko/ko/dq for thompson. odds were too gud to pass up what can I say Im a fury man!

Price looked clueless when hurt. He made exactly the same mistakes he did in the first fight. Thompson was smart with the finish. Went for volume and accuracy.

I dont think god himself could have trained or advised Price to win that fight.

Lennox Lewis may not be a smart man, but he's an ATG heavyweight.

Not all his fault. Boxnation made it a big deal about how Lennox was going to take Price under his wing and change him and make him better and yada-yada-yada. Maybe they got amnesia, because Lennox hasn't given any good advice in the past. Just look up on google the advice he gave to Klitschko opponents and how that worked out.

Lennox isn't smart enough to give advice about boxing. Most great boxers don't make good trainers, or good advisors. For example Pernell Whitaker. Whitaker was in Zab's corner when Zab got pulverized by Khan.

It takes more than just being a great boxer, you need to understand the sport like Roger Mayweather understands it.
