Haven't Wlad's last two trainers been American?

This is a dumb move by Povetkin. It takes time to mesh with a new coach and their training style. But then again he has never been the sharpest tool in the shed.

Ridiculous. I like to poke fun at his camp for losing recently as much as the next person but let's be real here. Roach is still a world class trainer.
I don't give a fu3k if you're the Nikola Tesla of boxing trainers. When a 33yr old HW gets with a new coach right before the biggest fight of his life its a ****** move nothing is accomplished in one camp. Not to mention he doesn't speak the same language and it's difficult enough to understand him due to his disease.

Ahh, yea, youre' right about that. I thought you were just saying his chances are slim after working with Roach. Yea switching trainers right before a fight is risky always.

Povetkin and Lebedev are good friends, i wonder if Zoo letting Denis take such a beating influenced Alex to make the switch?

So what? He's going to go out throwing bombs with 0 defense until Wlad takes him out?

I guess Tszyu isn't the best fit or they just don't have confidence in him and want a trainer with big fight experience. Doesn't really matter who trains him though, we're talking about a guy who nearly lost to Marco Huck. This fight is already a foregone conclusion. Wlad will play it safe as usual in another snoozer before stopping Sasha about the ninth or tenth round in a fight he'll just to to survive in. It'll be like the Ibragimov fight only with a stoppage.

Oh no- I have alot of respect for Roach and I am a massive Klitschko fan so for me this is not good news. For me it does'nt matter Klitschko will still stop Povetkin but I don't like rooting against Roach, but what will be will be.

Freddy while not in the best condition of his life speaks just fine and most if not all the fighters in his Gym have no difficulty understanding him including the many Russians, Mexicans, and other ethnic speaking people. Maybe you should stop by Wild Card and see for yourself. All of us here share the same passion and we ALL love Boxing so please show some respect to the man. Thanks!
