Ward is an assh0le for the whole "little g" trash talk. He's about to fight Kovalev this year, and that is an equal fight. Ward against Golovkin has all the advantages (weight, height, reach)... if you know you're bigger than the fighter in the division below then why call him little? it's only an insult to himself.. you want to fight lighter people?

The problem is this debate is spread across like four different threads at least and has to do with Jacobs not wanting to fight Golovkin. The poster switches from one excuse to the next and has to use Andre Ward as justification, bumping three year old Ward threads as some sort of proof that he's right Jacobs is perfectly OK with ducking the fight. I mean hey, let's forget they are both middleweights and Jacobs is in a mandatory position to Golovkin and Ward vs Golovkin was two different weight classes. It's cool though, smart business pays off.

Not a Jacobs fan but he is making a smart business decision. He's waiting on ggg to build his name more so he can get on the ride later when ggg become a ppv star while he fight fights like Mora so he can't lose value. A fight right now he'll get 1.5 million but when ggg becomes a bigger star he'll get like 3 or 4 million for a ppv fight.

It's annoying because he doesn't have enough confidence in himself to build his brand and beat ggg so he's just waiting on that payday. Instead of thinking how much money he's gonna get he should be thinking if he beats ggg he'll become a star himself but to think that he needs to think he'll win the fight which I don't think he does.

This is basically the ww division where everyone is waiting on that Floyd or Pac payday and they don't have the confidence in building their name themselves.

They didn't send anything, that was a suggestion Loeffler made after they had already turned down the fight and said maybe 2017. Golovkin flat out ducked Ward.

Ward was looking for a longer commitment anyway, so should have pursued that suggestion. It was a much better starting point than his joke offer.

The only joke is Golovkin and his fans. They're getting excited with him fighting a European level fighter that's never beaten anybody and what's funny is it may actually be one of his best fights.

They should name a hostel after Lil G, he's fought so many bums.

GGG is not asking Mayweather to come to 160, he's going down to 154 for him. Is Ward coming down to 160 for GGG?
