Even if he beats Canelo I think big red will help him feel like he should retire. Canelo is smarter, bigger and stronger then Guerrero and he is probably more dangerous then the past his prime version of Cotto that gave Mayweather all kinds of hell. Canelo should be able to do more damage and win more rounds then Guerrero and Cotto. I gave both of them 4-5 rounds each so lets see what this young stud can do against "el maestro" (the master) of boxing and cherry picking according to some (Floyd Mayweather). Although I wouldn't call Canelo a cherry pick, unless he knows he's running out of options so he better fight him now instead of leaving him for one of his final fights, because if you know your going to have to fight him why allow him to gain more experience; why not get him while he's still a little green.

Name the real threats? People oops I mean haters want to see cats loose their faculties during and after their careers - A fan is only a fan till their fighter retires, gets ko'd / tko etc.. then they are on to the next. This is why cats like Floyd and Bhop are legends, maybe not to the blind one dimensional fans of the sport, but these guys display what boxing is about, yes I like brawlers, sluggers etc.. but I will not degrade a fighter that is a shaolin monk to the sport ! This man has been in the game since 1996 ! Check the resume to all of you duck theorists. Its his brain his body, why don't you guys go and fight the boxers he so called ducked - One of them got caught with plaster (ask Cintron who is no longer around, and cotto who was never the same about that matchmaking, and the promoter of this particular fighter stood behind and still stands behind dude) ironic that Floyd and cotto got the **** outta dodge and will not do business with said promoter. there are a lot of underlying forces in this beautiful sport that a lot of fans only see whats on the surface and take it for what it is - how many of your favorite warriors are any good after 31 ? there are exceptions because their defense is underrated, but not many...

I guess calling him el maestro ( the master) of boxing is discrediting him. Your butt hurt for nothing. And for your information Floyd was the one that said Cotto gave him all kinds of hell and he was the toughest opponent he fought. So don't get butt hurt so easy.

if floyd chooses to, he can have a long and successful career like b-hop. both are technical marvels that can stay competitive way past their primes. BUT inevitably, floyd WILL lose... and he is really fond of his "0". he built his brand based off of that "0". so i am not surprised he wants to check out before time catches up with him.

neither Cotto or Guerrero landed a body punch of note Cotto landed some jabs; and the Ghost did nothing to win more than 1 rd
