I doubt that Mayweather would be allowed to wear Nike shoes while training/fighting since, AFAIK, he's tied down to a deal with Reebok.

He doesn't have a Reebok deal though. I remember hearing that maybe he was being paid by Reebok for the Marquez fight, but it was just a one-off thing. If they were endorsing him surely they would have his face plastered somewhere on the Reebok website or run some ****zine ads for him or something. He is the #1 boxer in the world. There are athletes from less recognized sports that Reebok endorse.

Maybe I am wrong, I was just under the impression that he had a deal with them because I remember hearing that he had some sort of deal in the build up to the Marquez fight and I haven't seen him wear any other brand on his feet since his comeback.
