The difference in the two fights are this, though (I haven't seen the second yet, don't know when I will): Pac blasted Morales out of the ring, whereas Morales won a close decision according to the judges. Yeah, they're 1-1, but Pac's win is far more impressive than Morales' UD was, in my opinion.
Morales is easily a HOF fighter, and he was a great fighter. He may have a bit left in him, but who knows? What you've said is true, though, he never dodged anyone, and he always gave it 100%.
The only thing is that I can't really blame some of the guys for the stool quitting. Minus Tyson. Gatti was begging for one more round, but his corner called it, and KT's corner called it, too. It's like throwing the towel in, but he wasn't getting his brains pounded at that moment.
One thing I am getting a bit tired of is all the excuses by fighters about this or that. They had a hard time making weight, they were tired, not prepared, etc, etc. Instead of just crediting the guy who beat them, they make all these lame excuses, and that's all tehy are: excuses.
