Junior middleweight contender Erislandy Lara (18-1-2, 12KOs) was not concerned with the possibility of losing after getting dropped twice in Saturday's fight against Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18 KOs) at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Lara, who went down in the fourth and the ninth, came back to stop Angulo in the tenth round - after the Mexican slugger indicated that he suffered an injury to his left eye. Lol , Lara escaped an "L". The second knockdown he stood up on shaky legs. Probably would've gave Angulo two more rounds to stop Lara.

If angulo gets a rematch, he needs to find a way to take away Lara's left, other than that i don't see anything else lara could do, but it is a tough task to ask from someone as stuborn like Angulo.

If his injury is to severe, i say Angulo shuold hang them up, his match vs Kirkland was brutal, has not been the same since.

Ive never been that high on Lara in the past. I always thought he underachieved with the talent he has. But the Angulo fight was entertaining so Im not going to diss him this time.
