I remember reading somewhere that Manny Pacquiao said the hardest puncher he ever fought was Erik Morales, this was even after he fought Miguel Cotto.
I noticed that an old grand pa body Morales beat up Cano worse than Mosley did and was able to hurt Danny Garcia in their first fight and even hurt Maidana a few times, and this is a bloated past prime Morales fighting in the 140 division.
Pacquiao claimed that Morales hit him hard. I think Morales power comes from his big bones, he might be skinny but he has a big frame for his division, if you look at his wrists you can see they are very wide and he has big hands. So I am guessing that power comes from his bone density he is really heavy handed. You have to have heavy bones if you have no musculature at all.
