    Boxing Fans are hypocrits

When Pacquaio forced De la Hoya to fight at 147 10 years after his last welterweight fight, no a sole critized Manny for that. De la Hoya called the shots for years even forced Floyd into his first 154 pound fight, smaller gloves and smaller ring. No one said a thing. If the both of these fighters are able to call the shots during their reign on top, then, why is it different for Floyd? Is it because he plays the villan for every promotion? I do not get it. Canelo wanted to challenge the best, well, to be honest, he should fight at 147! He wants his title and throne, then you come to fight me at my weight. It was noted and true that both fights at 154 were hard for Floyd. He comes into the fight being outweighed by 17 or 20. Cotto weighed 168 for their fight. Canelo loves to come in at 170-175. Floyd beat a super middleweight in Cotto and will handily outbox a light heavyweight but still will not get the credit he deserves. When he wins, the media will just demand a rematch at the full 154 pound weight limit. So if I am Floyd and I know that no matter what I do, I will not get the credit, then, I will not budge on anything, just as his predecessors did.

Give me some precedents, preferably not shameful like DLH at MW
Chavez vs Whitaker (two of the biggest names in the sport at the time I believe) fought at 145lbs for the 147lbs title. But then, yoh already knew that, didn't you? It's all people talk about when the fight is mentioned, right?

I don't like the CW for title fights either. The belts sbould be off the table, but you think sanctioning bodies are going to miss out on fees for a fight of this magnitude?

Also, Mayweather can never mention Pacquiao and catchweights again. He sold himself out by doing something he flamed Pacquiao for doing.

With Canelo being the natural heavier fighter I say its fair as long as they can do the weight in a healthy way.

Floyd on his trips to 154 has never hit the limit and it was against two guys that went various weight classes up to 154. Canelo is a full 154 and his rehydration process is going to even add more weight.

So true, Mayweather can't win no matter what he does in some people eyes. If Canelo has accepted 152 his team obviously think he can make the weight without any issues. On fight night hes going to be 15lbs heavier than May, yet you watch if Mayweather outboxes him people will call him a ***** and say that he wouldn't have done that to him at 154.. its 2 ****ing pounds people jesus! With no re-hydration clause Canelo wont be any different at 152 or 154 its just a mental tactic from Mayweather imo. One that will probably work hah. Mentally work I mean...

                I corrected it for you

Whenever defending yourself, always deflect towards the craziest part of your opposition, to make your stance seem reasonable or less flawed. Or so you all go...

What do you have to say about the people who didn't know whether the fight would happen (basically everyone but the ones who said it wouldn't), but never brought it up, but think the catchweight thing is ridiculous? Even for Floyd's standards? I don't really see how you can argue against the majority here

I understand where people are coming from about the catchweight and Floyd is a hypocrite for doing it. But people need to understand, Floyd beats Canelo at any weight. In the end Floyd won't get any credit for beating the Ginger but he deserves to not get credit for it.
