I don't think people should be too bothered by Froch's arrogance. His self-belief is what makes him who he is as a fighter. It's why he can continue coming forward without hesitating even when taking heavy shots. It's what makes him willing to fight so many tough challenges. It's what won him the fights with Pascal and Taylor and benefitted him in several other fights.

I'd rather a guy overrate himself and as a result take the toughest fights and give it his all than have self-doubt and cherry-pick opponents and then refuse to take any risks against even them.

Too many UK fighters have been content to be a big fish in a small pond. Froch isn't perfect, but he has a lot of the qualities that UK fighters usually lack. Whether he rematches Ward, Kessler again or fights somebody else, by the time he retires people won't be looking back and wondering "what if?", because he took all the risks and asked all the questions of himself that were there to be asked.

They're a tier below the greatest UK fighters but Froch definitely ranks ahead.

Yea, arrogance and self belief is definitely a good thing but Froch isn't even a fan of the sport. Calzaghe, Hatton and Lewis are probably the only Brits he knows.

Nah, Benn was a brawler. It would have been a great fight though.

              Eubank would've shown Froch up.

I put Froch over Calzaghe definitely. Lennox is over all of them British guys.

Benn was a brawler that would've splattered Froch. Time and time again, Froch has displayed an inability to fight in close. Benn would've sat on his chest, bobbing and weaving, hurting him with uppercuts and short hooks as Froch wings his punches.

Froch doesn't really pack a punch, his stoppages are more through accumulation but he sure throws a lot and that'd give Benn a lot of opportunity. Benn could be hurt though but that's when he was at his most dangerous, I just feel he's all wrong for Froch.

It'd be a war whilst it lasted.
