I have to agree with Kessler. Froch vs Kessler 2 is a great fight for the fans and for the TV networks. Sure, Ward is a great champion, but he's obviously looking for a big payday and to get that he has to travel and fight against a guy who can sell tickets like Froch or Kessler.

This is public knowledge already -- please add that Ward is asking for a purse of about $7 mln.

Kessler needs to stfu already and take his own advice about taking a loss like a man. For the record kessler picked froch over ward if im not mistaken, andre didnt act like a ***** over it.

He keeps running his mouth about ward when he is injured or signed for another fight, but anytime the fight could be made he turns mute. He even went as far as pretending ward doesnt exist when discussing his options. When ward expressed interest in fighting the winner of tonights fight he said hes retiring even if he wins. Proving beyond doubt he just doesnt want the fight.

And for good reason. Kessler has no chance against ward, different class of fighters entirely.

Both of these guys are getting around $2 million dollars for this fight. Ward got a little bit over $1 million fighting against Dawson, while Chad got like $670K or something around that number.

The truth is that Froch and Kessler can make fights that involve a lot more money in the UK and Denmark, than Ward in Cali.

Some of you Ward haters are just pathetic. You do realize that Froch is a pretty big favorite in this fight. Fans, boxers, boxing journalist..etc - most pick Froch to win so I have no idea why Kessler or anyone else for that matter get butthurt cause Ward's prediction is Froch. Doesn't Ward the right to predict a fight between two boxers he's already beaten? Why would it be wishful thinking when he beat Kessler with ease???

I can't believe that true boxing fans would become "haters" of a particular athlete -- especially when he is a top one...
On another hand, the mass of boxing fans likes entertainment -- that's why they pay to watch fights.

The only notable fight in which Ward was not permitted endless clinches was the Arthur Abraham fight...
The ref was Luis Pabón (Puerto Rico) who is famous for saying "Nobody throw nobody throw" during clinches.
The fact is that Luis Pabón was not needed in that fight, as AA is small SMW with shelly defense, and incapable of winning against top fighters in the division.

it was on that Behind The Ropes episode this week....Kessler said he underestimated Ward and his trainer said there were spies...some dude sparred with Kessler then went to spar with Ward and supposedly was passing information
