No. I keep forgetting to not expect something exciting and when the day comes it ends up coming short.

Im not a floyd fan by any stretch, but I love boxing, and I definitely respect and appreciate his skillset.

Yes Im entertained by Floyd, because I like all different types of fights and fighters, boxing purists putting on a showcase and slugfests with chins and hearts. Sign me up for everything.

don't intend to be rude....but floyd was and is still being accused of being a cherry picker...whatever that means....so in a way he is also accountable for his opponents...

let me say it this way....if you want to dance non-stop disco don't pick a lame duck...

ali is a very technical boxer and who i personally consider as the goat, but nothing in ali's fights have been dubbed as boring

he needs a dance partner to make it an exciting fight. guerrero was not a good dance partner, so to speak!

When he feels like throwing more than two punches at a time.

It depends who you are and what you're looking for.

Casual fans aren't in it for the depth, science and finesse. They just want to see people hurt and high paced rumbling like rock'em sock'em robots. It's almost sick, especially when casual fans get drunk. These are people who really love knock outs. These guys usually have a strong opinion but limited knowledge.

Followers enjoy it a little more, they can sit through a 12 rounder even if they don't really grasp it all. They just enjoy the sport for what it is and all it entails. They know the KO doesn't always come and that not every fight is or should be Hagler/Hearns. Though, that's wanted anyway, they have more patience. They're much more open minded

Die hards are those who know names, ins and out, resumes, understand strategy, they truly try to take it all in. They sure as hell try and really do enjoy the sport from minor to major details. The step someone takes to jab to the running a hurt opponent may do in dire situation. They have a true respect for boxers.

Boxers/trainers study and evaluate, dissect and divulge into it all, the atmosphere, the pressure, the physique, the attitude, mindset, resume -- everything! They study technique and know the fight from the inside. Put themselves in the situation or imagine what it must be like for the fighter. They've felt and seen what's being portrayed in the ring on a whole nother level. Their opinions are usually genuine and you can feel some sincerity.

Some of these traits are interchangeable and it's possible that there's a transition from one to another. They're not necessarily counter parts but stages of boxing fans.

So what this has to do with Mayweather...I think he gets misconstrued often times because his style isn't casual fan friendly. Which is the bulk of the boxing crowd. Casual fans/followers. People can't enjoy his style because it isn't completely overt. If you go to a boxing gym and watch a boxer throw a jab but never boxed before, you would think he's just throwing his hand forward. What you don't know is that he's stepping forward, shooting from the shoulder, extending/snapping his arm and exhaling all at once. Which I think happens with Mayweather, they see him do all this magical **** but don't even know whats really going on.

It took me a while to get most of it and I still feel like I'm missing somethings. You just don't see guys like this, especially lasting this long and looking this good still. At this rate, he's going to dominate everyone until he retires. There just isn't another fighter out there today that is on or near his level.

Anyway, I think he's exciting to watch. Everything is on point, that guy practices so much he makes boxing look easy. His form, technique, strategy, everything. You name it, he's got it down. It's hard to watch and not think "God damn! He really just did that! Look at this guy!" or something.

From a purist perspective, yes, he's exciting. Love him or hate him he's a master boxer. And at the end of the day it is ultimately about getting that W. But...yeah, he's kinda in the same league of the Rigondeaux's of the world. Superior boxers but perhaps not the most fan friendly in the ring. Their styles at times can be seen as boring or unappealing.

Do I think he's a fabulous boxer? Yeah. But do I also get geeked for his fights thinking I'm about to see some bombs dropped and fireworks from the opening bell onward? No. Not at all. There are dozens of other lesser boxers out there that I'd rather watch from an entertainment perspective.

How could anyone not enjoy watching Floyd box? The guy is the best of our era and is one of the best to ever put on a pair of gloves. To watch him outbox everyone and present his skillset is worth the PPV money alone. You guys better appreciate him and watch while you can because when he hangs up his gloves you might not ever come across a fighter with an overall skillset like his ever again.

I'am going to enjoy watching him fight while I can. To me he's an exciting fighter.

He's a smart fighter he likes to fight on Cinco De Mayo weekends and September 16th weekends. Right were Oscar left off getting that sunny weather summer money.

He doesn't care weather you pay to watch him win or lose just as long as you pay to see him fight.
