Madison Square Garden, New York City - Heavyweight bomber Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KOs) made his American debut with an exciting come from behind knockout of former cruiserweight king Steve Cunningham (25-6, 12 KO) in an IBF semi-eliminator. Fury was dropped hard in the second round and also lost a point for an intentional headbutt. He was behind on the cards when caught Cunningham along the ropes with a big shot that decked the former champ for the full count.

Great pics. Just as he said he would, Fury proved to Cunningham that he's a fighting man every bit as hard as any he's encountered on the streets of Philly.

He thugged it out with Steve and left him with a concussion. That's what it's about.

Anyone buying this Tyson Fury hype is ****ing ******ed. He is garbage. I wasn't even really a fan of Cunningham but now I am. Simply because he made Fury look like a *****. He dropped him and Fury was hurt for three rounds. He used his weight to win the fight. Headlocks, holding him down at the waist. He did that to a cruiserweight in order to win. That should tell the story of Tyson Fury. If you think otherwise, you're just a dumb person. Flat out ******.

I dislike Fury, but to be fair Wlad has been holding, leaning, pushing and shoving for years to prevent people hitting him. He's done it for so long and so frequently people forget that it's against the rules and it goes unpunished. If the champions are allowed to do it and it works, of course others are going to do the same thing and then it becomes the norm. How many fights do you see where infighting isn't interrupted every 10 secs because of someone holding? When we do get fights like that everyone loves them and they get nominated for fights of the year.

This is one case where the name doesn't fit the person

Tyson = intimidating ,Fury = intimidating ,Tyson + Fury = non-intimidating dorky white guy

                  You said it.

Steve Cunningham almost had him out of there.
