Comments Thread For: Team Alexander: If IBF Approves, Porter Gets Ass Kicked!

Kevin Cunningham, trainer of IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander (24-1, 13KOs), told krikya360.com that he was scratching his head after reading the recent comments from Ken Porter, the father/trainer of undefeated contender Shawn Porter (20-0-1, 14KOs).

Alexander was scheduled to fight mandatory challenger Kell Brook on May 18th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Brook withdrew a few days ago with a foot injury. Porter is also scheduled to see action on the same card, against Phil Lo Greco.

I don't think Porter is ready for Alexander, but I would love to see it. Who knows he might pull it off. Some of these father son duos actually work.....sometime....

Not impressed with Porter & not impressed with Devon either, so I'd normally wouldn't give a flying fcuk. BUT, you don't put an 8-year old in the right with a 10-year old. If that's what really happened, then that's NOT what you do. You can't do that - at that stage it's too much development-wise......

Not quite ready yet, he hasn't had any real competition.
Biggest fights were Julio and Gomez
