I also never bought the hype about Donaire. Defeating a small and old Jorge Arce shouldn't have counted for getting the award of "fighter of the year" I am feeling sorry for many philipinos since they kept boasting of the greatness of their boxers and forecasting that they would dominate or "kill" their rivals. As a matter of fact it has been the opposite since Pacquiao was badly KOed by Marquez in his last fight, Viloria was severly punished by Estrada a week ago, and Donaire was schooled by Rigo tonight. I can see some pinoy forists will be very sorrow just like it happened when JMM KOed cold Manny since it has been few months and they still think that Pacquiao never lost against Marquez. The truth is that living in denial will never change reality.

this has got to be the worst decision of 2013. The fight was close but no way did that chicken shït rigo do enough to win the fight. How the fúck did those ****** judges give it as a ud. Donaire initiated the action the whole night and chicken shït rigo was too scared to oblige. This is a plain out robbery. No wonder a lot of people say the sport is dying

Exactly! I dont see how anybody can say this fight was boring. Its rare that you get to see two intelligent boxers practice their craft against each other. What i watched tonight was a battle of minds. Each fighter trying constantly trying to set traps and capitalize on position. I was actually on the edge of my seat believe it or not. Rigo did his homework on Nonito and it showed. He knew that Nonito needs space to get into a rhythm and get his shots off. Rigo offset that space with a wide stance and long guard. Keeping his lead hand constantly out, feeling position. Coming over the top with that lead hook everytime Nonito doubled up on the jab. He had Nonito flat almost the whole night. Ish was beautiful to watch! Boring?? you guys are nuts.

Was I WRONG!!!! I was telling everyone how Donaire was going to either KO Rigondeaux or win a clear decision when Rigo felt his power & got on his bike to survive... But instead Rigondeaux boxed beautifully & dictated the pace threw out the whole fight, even after he suffered the knock down!! At one point Donaire looked lost, confused & scared to throw cause Rigo was countering the S H I T out of him!! & the very few times Donaire landed a good shot, Rigo retaliated right back with a better one!! Tonight Rigo made Me a believer!!! Great win & great performance by Rigondeaux & his team...

It is wise to rectify, at least you admit it, where is Pacdbest ????

I posted before that Rigo is a boxing legend for us Cubans and he showed the world why...the guy doesn't lose and EASILY schooled a "p4p" fighter of the year multiple belt holder!!!! He threw more punches than Donaire and when nonito got brave he popped him in the eye!! I saw the fight a second time and it looked like Rigo won by a land slide not to mention Donaires face look like he got beat up while Rigo looked like he was hitting pads barely breaking a sweat
