I would not call getting beat by one of the most gifted fighters of our time "being exposed"

More like being in the wrong weight class in the wrong era

Neither fighter would need to hang their head in shame, win or lose, if they make this fight take place.

Hatton is the only fighter close to Mayweather's skill level.
Mayweather and Hatton are two extremely skillful fighters, and neither would be exposed against eachother, it would be the winner gaining the credit rather than the loser gaining the hate.

          Tha_Greatest,
Your boy Manny Steward had Hatton in his top 10 lb4lb BEFORE the Tszyu fight. And in 2000 said "Of all the fighters in world boxing today, none are more talented than Ricky Hatton. Now remember the name because he's a future all-time great."

all i can say to hatton haters is watch more than the kostya and maussa fights cause hes got great skills and as got the arsenal to destroy pbf and make him look like a chum, but pbf can also make hatton look bad
whenever, wereever this fight is gonna be the fight of the year

I see this only one way......

Hatton is a one dimensional FIGHTER...... PBF is a more well rounded BOXER..... Hatton would try and charge PBF like a bull and PBF would be the matador showing him the red rag........ only one outcome here I can see would be Hatton getting countered all night long......

Hatton does not have any other way of fighting which will be his downfall...... PBF can switch his style in such a way that Hatton could'nt deal with.

Hamed had only one style of fighting this was his downfall against Barerra....... the same will happen here!

i would like to disagree with this same skill level thing... PBF is way better than hatton as far as skills are concerned... what stands out for hatton is his endurance and his ability to hammer down opponents for 12 rounds without lsing pace... IMO that's not skill...

Hatton's skills are very underrated. Most people outside the UK have only seen the Tszyu fight, and that was pretty much a brawl from the outset due to Hatton's superb gameplan.

i would honestly say that i have only watched tszyu's fight alright... but the way some brits describe his style is all brawl... so you can't blame me... if you can give me some links to his fights i will gladly appreciate it... by then i will give my personal opinion on how he fights

yeah Hatton knew that was the only way he was going to beat Tszyu, stuck to his gameplan even when Kostya was landing on a consistant basis, Hatton would have a gameplan for Floyd as well.
