He never wanted to fight margarito, pacquiao, martinez, now he doesn't want to fight canelo.

When he fought cotto he was talking about how hard it was and how it makes him want to go into retirement so now we won't see him fight anyone who is bigger than a lightweight.

Where was Marquez in 2008? Fighting at 130. See the difference?
Okay and when has Floyd proved he can fight at 154? Beating cotto who isn't a good 154 lber, and Oscar in a SD?

Also it's hard to judge marquez at 147 even when Floyd fought him. Look at his 147 opponent list... that alone there makes it hard to rate where he's at at 147. Even now the outcome with Floyd and Marquez will be the same, and he proved he belonged there when he should've gotten a close win over pac in their 3rd fight tbh.

I can agree with him wanting no part of Margarito, Martinez and maybe at most 50% responsible for not fighting Pacman. What I cannot agree with is how canelo fits into this equation.

I see no similarities between Margarito, Martinez, Pacman compared to canelo none.

Oh but Floyd, who has already fought twice at 154 can't do it again? Crazy if you ask me!
You obviously didn't get my sarcasm... Floyd is fighting Guerrero read the posts about his weight, when he's bigger than Floyd tbh. Reread what I wrote and see if you can get it.

Would you support Martinez fighting Ward at 160lb?

            1) As a fan of the sport I don't want to see the fight take place at 154lb as any victory Mayweather received would be marred by Martinez being weight drained.

            2) If I was Mayweather I wouldn't bother responding to Martinez because I'd see it as a bait to lure me into a corner. I don't buy for a second that Martinez is capable of making 154lb but once negotiations start public opinion would be on his side if he started pushing the fight to occur at a higher weight.

Listen, I'm really not backing Martinez much these days. But if Ward was dumb enough to offer his a$$ at 160 to get whacked, I wouldn't fault Martinez for that, that's for sure.

Why can you agree with him wanting no part of anyone in the sport of boxing?, he talks all that crap about being #1 well he isn't #1 anymore. He is full of bull**** and games he is a con artist selling us these easy fights.

Andre Ward "and the new lb X lb king." Look at the fighters ward has faced, that goes to show who wants to be #1, with actions not words.

Yeah, of Margarito, Martineez and maybe Pacman. But canelo has no place in that lineup is what I'm saying, none.

What would people say if Martinez fought Arthur Abraham or Jermain Taylor for a title at 168, became ranked as the #1 contender there and refused to fight Ward, Froch, and Kessler afterwards?
