but if Pacquiao lost the paper belt to Marquez before Bradley that makes it what?
All i'm saying let's stop pretending this 'going after history' thing means anything.
Marquez sees a powder puff puncher who looked semi-shot in his last fight. It's a nice fight but not nearly as good legacy wise as beating Pac again and we are talking going from 1 million PPV buys to 300k at best. So if Marquez is willing to take a 5-8 million pay cut then more power to him.

The only way he can become a 5 division world champion is to beat who? End of story.

Regardless he still lost the fight n Pac gave him the rematch which was the honorable thing to do. JMM doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want too, I was glad for him when he finally got the win against Pac and he's one of my favorite fighters. Bottom line is i'm just calling a b-i-t-c-h move a b-i-t-c-h move. It is what it is dummy.. If he really wants to be known as the better fighter he'll do it again and shut everyone da *** up point blank cause most non bias fans still believe the 2 are evenly matched. Pac is still the biggest money fight for him so what's the problem?
I believe he did that in their last encounter, the 3rd fight alone should have sealed the deal. Marquez doesn't have to prove anything at this point, history will show that he was the better man. At this point he should look to add to his legacy.
