It was a great fight, a close fight and Alvarado made Rios fight his fight down the stretch after giving as good as he got in the first two thirds of the fight. No need to make yourself look bad after a valiant and close but decisively losing effort. Both fighters came out looking better after the fight but more of this whining is going to hurt Rios. Work hard and win next time, til then, take it like a man and recognize Alvarado was the better fighter that night.

Its amazing how a lot of people think that actual boxing with lateral movement is running.

I agree 100%! Not comparing Averado to him but I guessing these same people never saw Muhammad Ali fight and if they did would they call that running too? Without naming names the ones that run clearly run but in fairness and with due credit Alverado did NOT run. I love Rio's and expect much more from him other than his post fight bellyaching.

He bit hes tongue long enough i honestly thought hes down syndrome would spill out in the ring but he held almost a full week. And being honest thats hes SECOND defeat

I had Alvarado up by a single point. He deserved the win no doubt.

Rios is a maniac who would go toe to toe with a Grizzly Bear and thinks lateral or backward movement is a crime or act of cowardice....

Alvarado is a tough guy too but one who is happy to box a bit also

The first fight was Incredible and the second was very very good too!

The main difference in the two fights as far as i could tell was that Mike left that shoulder roll **** at home the the rematch!

I was going for Brandon but he lost this fight clearly. He also gassed out the last 3 rounds. You could have gave rios the 11th but he didn't cut the ring off and was content letting alvarado drop punches on his face and watch him move away. He also acted like a baby in the post fight interview and it was silly him saying he could go 15 rounds when he looked like ***** in the last 3

Rios clearly lost..I had it quite a bit wider thsn the judges.
