People getting crazy, Broner is moving up is essentially unproven thus far...if at this stage Broner moving up with so few fights to face a guy like Paulie is a cherrypick, then what would the Top Rank version of Cotto be? Cotto fought him when he was more established than Broner and was clearly the bigger stronger fighter...people way to critical of Broner already and Paulie isn't an easy fight IMO. While Paulie may not pack the power to put him to sleep, he is way above average defensively and moving up could make the fight look bad for Broner, even if he wins.

Paulie is reasonable at this point.

He is the Weakest Champion at 147 but regardless he is still a Champion, I always been a Paulie Fan and if a lot of you say Miguel Vazquez would give Broner Problems then I don't see why Paulie can't do the same at 147...granted he is not the same 140 Prime Paulie but he is still a pretty smart fighter, for Broner he is still somewhat a STEP UP because Paulie would box circles around all of Broner's Previous Opponents

I get it that a lot of you are just at the point now in which you just want to see someone shut Broner Up so you don't want to see him in any "WINNABLE FIGHTS" but at the same time it is only ONE FIGHT, the guy is 23 years Old and not even at his Peak as a fighter yet, all of those fighters you want him to fight could still happen eventually, people are acting as if this is the last fight of his career and after the Paulie fight he will retire

His last fight he jumped up to 135 and took on the #1 Guy in that Division so I am not sure how one fight makes a guy a "CHERRY PICKER", what he does after the Paulie fight (IF HE WINS OF COURSE) will be more interesting, does he move back down maybe fight the winner of that 140 GBP Tournament, we all would love to see him fight Rios but we know due to Promoters that is not going to

Broner is not going anywhere anytime soon, it is plenty of time for all those fights to eventually happen and with most of them at 140 being with GBP all those fights will eventually happen...me personally I think he should have stayed at 135 maybe fight Abril, Vazquez (if possible) next or just wait for Burns then by the time he was finish with 135 the Tournament at 140 would have been completed then he could have jumped in the mix at 140 but hey if he feels he is ready to move up to 147 they so be it

Broner would beat Vasquez up terribly and i hate broner. he isnt cherry picking, everyone has a fight at 140 already. broner will probably fight khan after this fight even if khan moves up for the fight, hes wanted to for awhile

I second this. Vazquez is a stylistic nightmare for Broner. Probably the reason why Broner was only bothering to call out Burns and never mentioned Vazquez. He was shook.
