Gatti couldnt even beat Ivan Robinson and a washed up Chavez beat him with no problem. The only idiots that think Gatti can beat Castillo are the same idiots that thought Gatti would beat Mayweather. Nuff said........

Yeah but Ivan Robinson was just as washed up as Chavez.

Castillo would brutalize Gatti. His left hooks to the body would have Gatti folded in half within 4 rds.

& this is now, or years ago.

Castillo is one of the best fighters in the sport. He's also a very heavy-handed puncher.
Do any of you remember Gatti fighting any guys like Castillo over all those years ? I sure don't.....& there's a reason why he was steered clear of such foes.....he'd have lost badly.

This thread is a very good example of how many boxing fans have just never understood who Arturo Gatti realy was or is..this thread provides tons of proof.

Gatti would have gotten his teeth kicked in-**** the over/under on both of his eyes swelling shut would be about 3 rounds.

Gatti v. Castillo...**** it never took place and I bet Arturo still has nightmares over it.

I love Arturo Gatti, and being a big Corrales fan, I'm not big on Castillo; however, anyone who follows the sport closely knows that Castillo is in a class above Gatti. Gatti has a cult following because he slugs it out, but that's also what makes Castillo a great, not good(like Gatti), fighter. I would love to see Gatti pull the upset here, but Castillo would probably put him away in the middle rounds.
