Rios or Bradley, who will JMM choose?

I like both fights, but the Bradley fight is far more competitive, no outcome would surprise me there.

Obviously Pacquiao.
If you mean after Pacquiao, hopefully retirement. But he's already letting go the best time to retire which is right now, he won't get a better win than that, in that fashion. It sucks that fighters don't learn from each other. You would think in 2013, boxers would be much wiser with their career moves in this day and age and after seeing what long term boxing could do to your health. And no, don't call it "warrior mentality", it's more ******ity than anything else.
But hey, go collect those $8-10Mill JMM. $8million dollars is $8million dollars.

Would love to see him fight Bradley...but think Bradley might be too fast/young for Marquez at this point. He wont be an idiot like Pacquiao and bull rush head first.
Def wish Marquez would retire right now, what better ending for his career than that KO of his arch-rival Pacquiao?...
oh yeah $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ hell i would too, we all would too if we get at least 15 mill - 20 mill

I think it will be Rios if he wins his next fight. I truly think Marquez is done with Manny. He's always felt that he was the better fighter and that KO proved it. Plus, I think he felt disrespected with the business side of the fight. I think he picks Rios because although it would be a very exciting fight, it is also the easier fight. Rios will be there in front of him throwing bombs all night for him to counter. Rios might still have his number at this stage, but he has the perfect style for Marquez to look great. Bradley is a much more versatile fighter. He would present major problems for Marquez and look dominate doing it. 5 years ago that would have been a great fight, but a 40 year old Marquez will not beat a skilled fighter in their prime like Bradley.

I think it's refreshing to see him fight against a Rios or Bradley. These past years, people have been crying about him only fighting Manny with a few bums mixed in, and how his legacy solely depends on him fighting Pacquiao. I welcome his new attitude of searching for another serious opponent.Last edited by _original_; 03-14-2013, 01:45 AM.
