Mendez reminds me of prime Joan Guzman. He's getting better too.

Big improvement from his first fight with Salgado.

He's got a lot of options too: Gamboa, Uchiyama, Martinez, Burgos, etc.

Negative. Gamboa wants to move up to 135. Gamboa WAS supposed to fight Salgado tho. Then Mendez had he won.

He wants to move up for good or just to fight Broner?

If Broner leaves 135 which looks like he will, I wonder if he will still want to move up.
