Ricky Burns and Miguel Vazquez have expressed their frustration at the enforced cancellation of their lightweight unification title fight in London.
WBO champion Burns was due to face Mexican IBF belt-holder Vazquez at Wembley Arena on 16 March, but Vazquez was forced to pull out due to a stomach virus.
The fight has been rescheduled for April 20 at the same venue but both fighters were keen to apologise to fans for having to delay the much-anticipated clash.
The postponement is particularly frustrating for Burns, who saw his proposed bout with Liam Walsh last December cancelled after his opponent was involved in a car crash.
