Let me guess his next move, wait for Marquez's age to tenderize him some more then call him out vehemently until he gets to fight an old ATG or get denied and get the false sense of striking fear into a Mexican legend. Broner fears the TRUE threats to him; Matthyse, Garcia, Rios. **** even Judah, Khan, Maidana, Peterson and Holt may be able to expose this ****boy. Excellent boxer, but his mouth and showboating will be his demise. He is NOT floyd Mayweather, and it is very hard pressed to say he will ever get close to his achievements.
Broner is like water; will seek out the path of least resistance.
Damn, so tell me how you really feelGreat post

As long as broner fights gamboa he can go straight to 147 if he wants. Those others are gonna move up soon too

It makes perfect $en$e if you think it through. If broner jumps up to 147 and takes a belt, he'll have experience at 147 before those guys at 140 move up. He'll have the advantage in negotiations regarding money because he would be the champ, and become hbo new mayweather and start fighting those guys on ppv. He'll still have his 0 those guys will move up to fight at a class they havent yet, so he'll have an advantage somewhat with that. HBO will have their new PPV guy since losing fmj, they all will make more money, he'll be talking so much **** by then the ppv will sell, broner vs garcia, kahn, alexander, mathysse, possibly marquez, these are fights people wanna see and will pay for.
makes good $en$e if you think like a promoter or tv co if you wanna make a ppv star and more money.

I'm not feeling this Broner vs. Malignaggi talk. It makes me think the reason they wanted Shane Mosley to take his belt was to set up Broner vs. Mosley at some point.
Paulie needs to fight his mandatory and then the winner of Maidana vs. Josesito Lopez.
Hopefully its just Richard Scaefer talking who is an excellent businessman but comes across like he doesn't know **** about boxing.

This doesn't help Broner's career at all, the only way they're willing to go this far is if he actually wants to fight Floyd. Max Kellerman said that fight gets brought up to him A LOT and the two are two weight classes apart.

Broner-Malignaggi is a gimmick type fight much like RJ-Ruiz and Pac-DLH were. And personally, I'm not feeling it because Broner has good options in his division and 140. That said, what's up with all the, "Broner is jumping to avoid guys at 35 and 40" talk? Even if Broner does waste his time with this fight. He can still go back down and fight any of the guys we wanna see him in with at 35 or 40. With Burns-Vazquez being pushed back, Gamboa likely taking a tune-up, Garcia fighting Judah, Maythesse fighting Peterson, and Rios and Alvarado fighting again. Paulie might not be a bad option for Broner. Its not a fight that really interest me. But its better than another lightweight no hoper.
