Former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (37-3, 30KOs) is planning to have three more fights before retiring from boxing to spend time with his family and pursue his venture as boxing promoter on a full-time basis.
Cotto, 32-years-old, plans to fight in October or November of this year, and then wants to have two more matches in 2014 before walking away for good. He still has hopes for a big match with WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Their match was going to potentially happen this year, but Cotto was upset by WBA champ Austin Trout last December in New York.
