From what I'm hearing, it would take place at 175. If so, you can put me down for a Pascal KO win. If Bute could drag the fight into the later rounds, his chances are better due to Pascal's stamina issues. But for the first 6 rounds, Pascal's explosive speedy bursts will completely throw Bute off and disrupt his rhythm, and ultimately IMO will knock him out. Against Grachev Bute was gun shy and was really inactive.

I've said for a long time even before the Froch fight that Bute had a seriously bad defensive liability that hadn't yet been exposed given the fact he hadn't faced top fighter yet. Back around the time he fought Bika, Berrio and Joppy Bute was fresher and his timing was more on point. But when he started fighting the Brinkley's and Magee's of the world consistently, he fell into a single gear one trick pony sort of style.

When you fight that sort of level of competition consistently you fight down to that level of competition and it can be hard get out of that and move into a higher gear. That's exactly what I think happened to Bute. Like I said, Pascal's speed and explosive bursts will make Bute tentative and more gun shy then he will probably already be, and as soon as Pascal start's drilling him with those explosive hooks, Bute will shut down, and will get KO'd probably around round 5 or 6. Just my opinion though.

Not saying it hasn't happened, but I just can't think of an instance. It's usually the other way around.

I don't really buy into the idea Khan can take a punch better at 140.

I can see a case whereby a weight-drained fighter takes a punch better in the next weight class up, but was Bute weight-drained? I'm not so sure.

Khan may take a punch better at 140 but its only because it couldn't possibly get any worse. At 135 it was a 0.75 on a scale of 1-10 now at 140 his chin rates a 0.95

hold on....I went through the first page WITHOUT seeing Pascal's actions being called a DUCK or a disgusting move by Team Pascal....I expect the SAME backlash that Alexander got for ALLEGEDLY ditching Kell Brook for Floyd...I guess there's been a change in hearts since then

I don't care for this fight....I like Dawson-Pascal more....Bute gets cracked by Pascal and the fight will be over....Bute will be forced onto his front foot and Pascal will walk him into something hellacious...BOOM!!...fight over!!

I guess this fight will end any possibility of Ward-Bute happening in the future if Bute loses.

I didn't think this was serious.

Bute is done. This is it. Brutally stopped by Froch and he's going to get brutally stopped again by Pascal.
