      Lol at people thinking that Canelo would face a legit threat other than Mayweather.

      I expect Canelo to face Berto or Ortiz, and maybe even a smaller fighter.

          it's very clear that they use these sorts of faux announcements to generate publicity for other fighters.

          this is a bit extreme, though, in the case of mayweather, alexander, and guerrero.

            Especially when both Canelo and Trout tweet that they are signed to fight each other then the very next day Schafer says "Nothing is signed"

            December 2nd - "The card will be announced in a week or so's time"

            We're now on February 15th and in the exact same position we were in at sqaure one.

                    Canelo is the type fighter who fights to the level of his opponent. It will be an action fight, just so Trout doesn't run all night. Canelo should get past him with room to spare. Then maybe we'll see him vs Mayweather... but then The Ghost won't be an easy one for Floydie. This is getting very interesting.
