seriously though yeah it was pressure, and money, but that was made clear from the get go...they were lined up for a while and it actually went through. how often can u say that in boxing
He couldn't escape that match. Lets be real here, Sergio stripped cause HBO wouldn't pay for a Zbik fight (which Jr won the vacant title from) and being the mandatory for so long. IF they would had avoided that fight which most of the public knew it had to happen, Jr would had taken a lot of blow back for it even including some of his fans.

Not only that it is like you said, where they were going to make the most money like that match. Every other option was not going to pay as much and the risk was just as high except for Sturm

Did he, Chavez Jr., vacate the title?
      Something GGG's opponents have done.

sergio is avoiding ggg, we need julio back as champ so that gennady gets his big fight
How do you figure that? Sergio earned his right to be where he is, none of these other "champs" have done much at all. The dude just fought the biggest MW known to man, when he was undefeated. He moved up in weight to fight Pwill ("the most avoided man on earth" at the time) and now he is scared of Golovkin?

Just like he was ducking Pirog too I guess? You guys love to reach for that stuff but I've never seen him "duck" anyone. The only fight I've seen him personally say he thought was a bad idea was going over to Russia to fight Pirog. He welcomed the fight here in America but HBO said the fight wasn't good enough.

I hope that after he beats Murray, he sets up a fight with Golovkin so you guys can go on to the next guy that Sergio is ducking. I think there were several MW fighters who mentioned interest in fighting Golovkin but now he is fighting another old, career JMW in Ishida. You might want to go talk to Sturm and Quillin if you want to find alleged champs (former champ for Sturm now) who "ducked" Golovkin.

I believe Martinez said after a fight or two he thinks it would be a great match, most likely on PPV.

No, I personally think Chavez jr breaks Golovkin down and stops him. But, like the legend says, Golovkin is the son of Thor, destroyer of men, GOD OF WAR!!!!

Not unless he's taking illegal substances to crap his brains out in order to make the weight

My point was that he wouldn't be scared because he has such a weight advantage over his opponents but I joking more than anything else.

                    Jr. probably wins this one.

Too tall, too much length, tough chin, won't have to deal with a boxer dancer like Martinez.

GGG is a strong puncher, but so far that's all he's proven.

Jr. almost stopped Martinez in the 12th. Wouldn't be surprised if he did stop the smaller and slower GGG.

No, he got the crap beat out of himself by the rightful owner of that title (Martinez)
