When 3G gets pinned against the ropes and has that 185 pound dude punching his guts out, people will see why there are weight classes.
Beating up on career LMW's and fighting cruiserweights are two totally different ballgames.
I wonder how other past middleweight champs would have handled this mythical beast they call Chavez. Pavlik, Taylor, Hopkins. Lmao!

Sturm gets so much crap for his opposition... Yet Two of Martinez past few fights have been against Macklin and Murray, two guys Sturm fought recently as well! So you wanna talk about resume....... Yet Martinez hasn't exactly been lining up fights with The GGGs, Pirogs of the division..
GGG hasn't done anything to earn a Martinez shot, resume wise.....but Martin Murray has? Macklin too? You have no idea what you're talking About, sorry.
Your logic: brb beat Jorge Navarro.... Earn title shot against Sergio Martinez...
Beat Proksa, Ouma and Rosado.......step your résumé up and then we'll talk about even CONSIDERING you.
Okay bro.
2) When have I or anyone else criticized Sturm's opposition? He only get's criticized for ducking GGG and the lineal champions of his era. His recent opposition has probably been the best in the division outside of Martinez: Macklin, Murray, Zbik, Geale, Soliman. The biggest problem with that record is that he came out of those fights with only 2 wins (one a SD robbery), a draw and 2 other losses...
3) Martinez is fighting Murray (an undefeated top 10 middleweight with a draw against Murray in Germany) mostly because it's his return fight in Argentina after 16 years and the Argentines hate the Brits so it's a fight that will definitely sell. Further, Martinez has nothing to lose against Murray, if Sergio were to fight GGG instead, there's a chance he might get stripped of his WBC title (again) for trying to unify with Golovkin.
If GGG can get a few more fights on HBO against quality oposition and maybe unify a title, then a fight with Martinez can become more profitable and thus the chances of a unification would become more possible.
I also don't give GGG any accolades for beating Rosado or any other JMW, he needs to fight guys like Geale, Pirog, Macklin, Rubio, etc.

..........and if they won't sign? Tell sergio that GGG IS a title holder at 160, ts one of those ABC titles hahaha!!!! Why is Sergio resigning to fight Junior again? Has Junior learned how to jab yet? You saw Sergio on the deck when he steps up even Junior caught him. I think Sergio vs GGG is viable match except GGG will have to chase him all over the ring! However the souhpaw might give him trouble and maybe a fight will break out at about the half way point! Ray.

Right now I think that Martínez is better than GGG, he's been proven at elite level and has showed that he's definitely a top 10 P4P fighter.
GGG on the other hand still has a long way to go. People were completely overrating him after his win against Proksa (a good win nevertheless) but he still is not as experienced as Martínez and still has to prove that he can fight at elite level.
Some guys here are saying that Martínez didn't look very good vs Barker for example, but that's life, sometimes you're not going to look good. GGG didn't look good against shot Ouma, and he showed some defensive flaws against Rosado (a 154 pounder)
IMO right now Martínez KOs GGG by taking advantage of his great footwork, more experience and the defensive flaws of GGG (especially his lack of head movement)

it took him way to long to get to this spot in the sport top p4p fighter all this respect no way he retires anytime soon not a chance he will have to fight ggg and i cant wait

Martinez was able to beat Chavez because of his superior footwork, lighting hand-speed, and ability to time his strongest punches.
