you a clown pacquiao walked away from a 50/50 split with floyd yet no one says pacquiao priced himself out.what some of you people don't understand is that it was not about the money so much its about respect and marquez felt that after winning pretty much every round aginst pacquiao that he deserves atleast as much as pacquiao.im pretty sure if pacquiao was also getting paid 400k that marquez would have had no problem

Pacquiao gave rematches so JMM could avenge his losses? No he gave them because they were big money fights and most people thought JMM won both fights.

when the other guy who won 2 times and draw gave you 3 rematches and for the first time, you won by lucky punch and refuse to rematch after that even it will be you biggest payday... clearly a DUCK/SCARED! lol!

that's what happened though. marquez wanted more money for a rematch..more money than anyone was willing to give him at the time, and so the immediate rematch failed to materialize...also the first fight was a close fight..i gave marquez 7 rounds, but because of the 3 knockdowns in the first round pac got the win by 1 point...even marquez said he feels he lost at least 4 rounds in the first fight..

If those quotes are correct and Juan Manuel Marquez is indeed ducking a fifth fight against Manny Pacquiao, Marquez will lose a ton of respect around the boxing community. Money certainly would not be a factor in Marquez’ decision to duck Pacquiao and he has already stated that he plans to continue fighting.

So why not accept the biggest payday of your career and take a fifth fight against Manny Pacquiao? We can only think of one reason — steroids.

Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach and the rest of Pacman’s crew has made it clear that they will demand stricter drug testing if the two fighters were to ever meet for a fifth time. This stems from the fact that Juan Manuel Marquez seemed to have gone through puberty all over again leading up to their fourth fight. At 39-years-old, Marquez seemed more ripped and more muscular that ever leading many fans to believe that he was taking some sort of performance enhancer.

We cannot imagine Marquez actually walking away from all of the money that is on the table for a fifth fight against Pacquiao, but if he does we can only assume the worst. It will confirm to us that he is indeed taking some sort of performance enhancer or he has turned into a coward. You can decide which one is more likely.

If this fight never happens, that will always be Pac fans excuse why Marquez won the 4th fight. Nothing but a butthurt excuse here.

If Pacquiao had a clear win like JMM does now would he have gave JMM a rematch? I don't think he would.

Pacquiao may have got the wins in the 2nd and 3rd fights but he didn't win clearly if at all.
