That's not true, Pac wants it bad. So does the general public, it's been voted the most anticipated fight of 2013. That's cause people like rematches of great fights, and the 4th was spectacular.

Looking through this thread most of the posters against are Floyd fans. Funny that.

Well here's an excerpt and this for the record this guy has been riding hard as hell for Marquez for nearly 10 years!
That was actually a terrific article.

I have to side a little bit with Pacquiao here...

regardless of who people think won the fights.. Pacquiao won the 2nd and 3rd fight and could have easily walked away with his name in the record books of beating Juan Manuel and I think he could have lived with it...Pacquiao gave Juan two more chances after beating him twice in a row and now Juan won't simpy return the favour?

Most nutt huggers can not translate what Marquez is actually saying. The following is what he is saying....

"I have always been on the losing end everytime I faced Pacquiao, I was cheated by the the Nevada judges and I was payed less than what Pacquiao was payed. I am willing to fight Paquiao a fifth time if Bob Arum agrees to my demands. I have demanded that the fight be in Dallas or Mexico and that I receive the better of a 60-40 split. If my demands are not met, I will retire and Pacquiaos legacy will be ruined and he will forever be remembered as The Guy Who Went To Sleep by the punch of Juan Manuel Marquez"

Bob Arum will not agree to his demands, so kiss this fight goodbye.

Of course he's angling for money/terms, but he's gotta know when the point is made. Hopefully he's learned lessons from the Chris John episode and doesn't shoot himself in the foot again.

First, if there is a 5th fight JMM should be on top of negotiations because I, like many others, think that JMM should be dictating conditions (like fighting at lower weight, selecting venue and receiving higher percentage just like Manny fought with many advantages in the past). Second, money aside, there is no need of this 5th combat since JMM has won more rounds in all the fights and even horribly KOed Pac leaving nothing else to prove. Manny followers normally use the "official results" (2-1-1) to argue, so they could continue utilizing them to convince themselves that also on Pac side there is nothing else to prove. Third, I am glad to see that JMM is wiling to take a route different than Pacquiao (Pac fans would say that JMM owes him all to Manny). I just hope one day that the boxing world doesn't have anything more to do with Manny and Floyd (the biggest egos) as well as to see that both TR and GBP don't keep blocking the best possible boxing matches.
              Good post.

The pink is fact, which means Pacquiao has the right to demand(in previous fights)

The Yellow is opinion/speculation.. which means? nothing

Its sad that Pacquiao doesn't get a second chance when he faced Marquez 3 times in a row after getting two wins regardless of what anybody thinks about the fights

Manny gave Marquez 4 chances to beat him. Marquez holds the cards on this fight but he should give Manny a chance out of respect .... but its up to Marquez.

Perhaps Marquez is saying this just to gain even more leverage and therefore more money in all this. I see it being very tempting for Marquez to take the fight since Marquez will be getting a lot more money than anyone else he fights.
This right here ^... That's the way i see it.

Pac fans are just mad that their invincible champion was knocked out cold. Their mad that while pac's victories are questionable, marquez's was clear. Lucky punch? Whatever. Respect the man's decision and stop calling him a coward. Your boy got put to sleep. Deal with it.

Marquez Is In The Driver's Seat

He felt robbed several times, and now he got what he wanted so he should move on.

A rematch with Floyd Mayweather would be the biggest fight anyway!

The amount of post on this thread is an example of how BIG he is now.
