    why do people think Mares is such an easy fight for Nonito?

    Abner has supposedly been "an easy fight" for a number of opponents, yet he's still undefeated. Moreno was supposed to make him look like an amateur because his "boxing is so much better and boxers always beat sluggers". What happened? Moreno took a nice little beating. So what's this horse**** about Mares being an easy fight for donaire? As a fan of Donaire, I don't see it being easy at all. Abner will be, by far, the best fighter Nonito has ever faced.

    been posting it all day...

    I think donaire is in for a long night with mares and if he wins it'll be close and mares will make him fight every minute of every round unlike nishioka or arce who didn't even come to fight

    mares is a much smarter fighter than he gets credit for...donaire won't be able to lure him into that left hook as easily and I doubt he'll be able to set the pace

      I think Mares has earned and proven that he isn't an easy fight for anyone at 118 and 122.

      I still favour Donaire though but it's a good fight. It's the fight I want to see in what I consider the best division in Boxing at the moment.

          how in the hell is mares gonna get on the inside of donaire i just dont see it happening. mares is gonna have to take some big shots to get on the inside of donaire and work him.

          rigo has a better chance but i think donaire can one hitta quitta rigo after a couple of rounds.

            Mares has a really ugly style, but it works for him.


            I still favour Donaire over him.

              he's not an easy fight but when a fighter lags behind in power, speed and technical ability you gotta give him the underdog tag. mares has the edge in inside fighting but i don't think it will work against a explosive counterpuncher with good anticipation like donaire.

                  He gonna take some punches like he always does and walk his guy down. I thought he'd have a very hard time catching Moreno but he cut the ring well. He's got good stamina and a decent jab that will surprise Donaire. Much tougher than a Ringo fight imo . Ringo tries to get cute and gets caught
