Not surprising Marquez wants none of Bradley. It would bring back painful memories of the Floyd and Norwood fight.

Marquez looked pretty slow vs Pac in their last fight and for the 1st time was actually being schooled by the Flip. Bradley will just plain outbox him with speed and movement. Its a style Marquez has never been able to deal with and at 40 Nacho knows his man cant win. So instead he wants to fight a guy who was just knocked out in 6 rounds. Makes sense rom a business point of view but not a true fans perspective.

Because in all honesty I don't think JMM can beat Bradley. With everything you said against him, style wise he'd beat JMM. You're right he's boring and doesn't bring a lot of cash to the table, but it CAN be marketed as the two who beat Pac squaring off, though like I said JMM will probably lose.

If Marquez couldnt beat Freddie Norwood then he definitely wouldn't beat Timothy Bradley. He just cant beat slick fighters.

He did,actually.Norwood got a gift decision against Marquez,even if he did give him some trouble.Hell,Chris John has a more credible argument for beating Marquez than Norwood does,and he never had to rely on excessive clinching like Norwood did.

Marquez isnt that good when he is being aggressive. He is too slow so relies on counter punching which is where he found success vs Pac. When he had to be a front foot fighter vs Floyd he lost every round and got floore din the process. Against Tim I imagine JMM will have problems with the speed and movement and wont be able to just lay back and wait.The way Tim Bradley picked up rounds vs Pac late on will be the way he beats Marquez.

I reckon the bookies might see it as and even fight so Id put money on Bradley winning it on points and get a good return. Tim wont try and KO Marquez cuz he knows he has no power so he will simply outbox him and he has a couple of blueprints to choose from.

You can say what you want about Bradley, that he's boring or whatever but deep down I think majority of us know that Marquez would lose to him. If we're going to call Mayweather and other top fighters duckers because they didn't fight top guys you have to call this a duck too. Bradley certainly is a top fighter and has earned a spot to get this fight. It doesn't surprise me though, fighters like Miadana have ducked Bradley for years.
