you guys are laughing but this would be a tune up fight for a may 4th bout.
the only reason this fight would happen is because broner doesn't want to sit out all the way till may 4th.
box rec has broner fighting 2 times.
one time on feb & then another time on may 4th......
this is a tune up. a stay busy fight.........i don't see the outrage

what a joke... broner needs to start taking on some real oppostion, if he cant get any fights at 135 go straight to 140, he isn't too smll, but he loves to bully the small fighters and is scared of all the mexicans in that divison

Broner is having trouble making 135, he should go up to 140.
Lots of good fights in that weight division: Rios, JMM, Matthysse, Peterson, Garcia, etc.
As for Rees, that won't even be worth turning HBO on for.

If this happens to be a stay busy fight, then there is nothing wrong in it.
Mathebula who was ranked #7 was the best fighter Donaire fought.
In the end, he fought two fighters who retired right after the fight, and one fighter who had just come off a TKO loss.
