How they officially weighed in prior to their latest bouts, repectively.. there's no major weight difference between Floyd and Martinez.

It was 147 they was talking about him being sick before the fight and lost his weight! I think that was an excuse just in case he lost you know like manny and leg cramps! Lol

Floyd will never fight Martinez just like he was never going to fight Manny. We know arum was to blame too. We know this. But its obvious Floyd never wants the toughest fights. He always takes the fights which r good enough so he can't get criticized for fighting a bum, but its not too tough and he'll make alit of money. Examples: batting instead of tszyu, baldomr instead of Margarito, Marquez instead of Williams, Ortiz instead of pacquiao, Cotto instead if martinez
And we know martinez is bigger but the true greats like are and self take those challenges(against maxim and hagler). Mayweathr is great no doubt. But he'll never be all-time great status bc of that

                  "151 pounds money mayweather"

unless he lost 4lbs by the fight I highly doubt he was 147. in fact he probably rehydrated a little more.

lets get something straight, Ortiz rehydrated to 164 against Mayweather. Martinez rehydrated to 165 against Macklin so lets drop the weight excuse

here's the kicker. Mayweather has ZERO problem with Canelo's weight. Canelo rehydrates to 170+, he's a big boy.

but Mayweater tells Martinez they could fight at a catchweight of 150 with a rehydration clause, Martinez calls his bluff and Mayweather tells him to fight Dirrell. but Saul Alvarez's weight is ok? fighting him at 154 is ok? but Martinez at 150 isn't?? lol

make up any excuses you want but the FACTS say Mayweather is a hypocrite plain and simple.

Theres much better matchups at 154 yet he chose to move up and fight bums like Lee and Palvik. Which ill say was smart for him because at 154 he struggled with bums like Kermit Cintron. At 154 Serg is an average fighter and he knows it. At 160 he has an advantage athleticly which is why he campaigns there.
Struggled my arse! Kermit got beat bigtime twice that night....

I find it funny Sergio thinks these guys smaller are ducking him, but he wouldn't even test the waters at 168 against Ward, or fight the best fights in his division right now, which are Golovkin/Pirog/Geale.

Sergio is closer to Andre Ward is terms of actual size than he is to Floyd Mayweather. Ward is about 10 lbs heavier than Sergio, while Sergio is about 15-20 lbs heavier than Floyd.

Sergio fighting at 160 is like Floyd fighting at 147, he may not be the biggest fighter there, but he's solid at the weight. Floyd fighting at 154 is him fighting in a divison he's very very small in. We haven't seen Sergio attempt to fight at 168, a division he'd be very small in.
Good points...Sergio is at his optimum weight. I feel 154 is at the limit of Floyd's optimum, middleweight is really much too big for him.
