I think he just looked like Amir Khan to be honest. I wasn't expecting him to look very different and he didn't, although the Showtime analysis might lead you to believe otherwise. He got caught with plenty of shots inside and didn't really show any improved awareness of where danger was coming from when he traded. All that was different was that he backed straight out on occasion. Still bouncing around the place like a six year old on a sugar rush.

C+ seems fair enough, he should be shutting Molina out like Mayweather did to Marquez or even literally KOing him.

          C+

I didn't see much improvement. He used his jab more and it was a good jab, his jab for most part was better than I thought it was.
He was still lunging in, throwing arm punches, still had no head movement etc etc
Looked the same Amir Khan except for he'd occasionally back off more. He has no ring IQ what so ever!!

He has blazing handspeed but he just throws aimlessly & pulls his punches. He doesn't try punch threw anything, he simply tries merely touching them.

I felt Molina could of had a lot more success if he wasn't so gunshy and predictable. He was able to get inside, too much for my liking but when he was inside he didn't do ****.
Did he throw anything other than the left hook? There was no set up or anything. Gutsy kid but that is all I can say.

I also feel Amir showed he actually has an inside game. He fought well inside at times. He actually threw a lovely combinations & turned his man. Something I haven't seen from him before.

I agree with everything, except Khan showing he had an inside game...He threw a combo inside and turn his man..But for me to say his inside game improved I'd have to see him in with a better fighter then Molina..Who as you said has tons of heart, but overall is just not good at anything imo...Molina got inside on Khan and just did not work at all once he got there, which allowed Khan to tee off on him and turn him...

This is part 2..Funny my grade for him is the same,C+..

Again,he was getting caught by the same punch..This time by a better puncher and paid for it..But he did still show very good boxing ability and did fight a bit more smart when hurt..I don't know if he's ready to be in the ring with the upper class right now..But I guess the time is now..

              What's some grades??

                B-

He still has much to improve on. He needs to focus on his errors. He sits in the pocket too long and tries to follow up on combos and it gets him caught.

It all feels a bit like Ricky Hatton changing his style to box from the outside late in his career. Doomed to fail.
