theres no way u can put marquez above floyd. marquez lost to floyd. and if they were schedule another fight this year, hed lose again and most would bet on him losing. i dont see how u can say marquez is p4p better when there is little doubt floyd beat him.

My main problem with Floyd is his inactivity, not his skills or his resume.

I wouldn't bet on Marquez to beat Floyd right now, but I don't think another fight would be fair anymore because Marquez is already 39 years old and is in the end of his career.

It would've been amazing to see a stronger in shape Marquez against Floyd, especially because the Marquez that showed up today isn't the Marquez that showed up against Floyd a few years ago.

And as I've said, you could make a case for Marquez #1, but I'm not saying that he's #1. For me Floyd's still the best, but I would like him to prove it more than once a year.

Undefeated means nothing to me, this is a subjective P4P list, otherwise I would say that the P4P list should include Canelo, Chris John and yeah, Broner, who btw doesn't deserves to be up there.

And the P4P list is dynamic, it's changing all the time so even if Floyd beat Marquez a few years ago it doesn't mean that Marquez is not worthy of being among the best.

Since 2009 Marquez beat Díaz x2, Ramos, Fedchenko and IMO Pac x2.

And you may like it or not but Pacquiao was still a top 5 P4P fighter, undefeated since 2005 (The Bradley fight was bullshit) and a top fighter at 147.

I think still right now Pac would beat anyone at 147 except Mayweather Jr.

IMO the Diaz wins, Ramos? and Fedchenko isnt that impressive all C boxers.

At one point Diaz was considered really good but now in hind sight, ehhhh

and think what you want to about the Bradley fight, Bradley won. ill go with the three judges over a biased boxing public of opinion.

Pac lost and if you lose a fight you should be vacated from the P4P list, especially if we are just considering recent fights and not the career of the boxer.

and I dont think Pac can beat everyone at 147, Im going into that any further due to the fact i dont feel like arguing or attracting any dumb comments or posters.

With the Ortiz and Cotto fights for Floyd. Ortiz had been on a winning streak except his Draw and a career defining win over former undefeated Champion Berto and Cotto was considered the best at 154

i was going to put marquez instead of wladimir or donaire. i wouldnt put him higher than 4 though.

as for marquez of today not doing as well against mayweather as the marquez of a few years ago, i think that is rubbish. marquez just destroyed manny, he is at his strongest by far.he is more active than mayweather even though he is 3 years older. the only reason he couldn't beat mayweather is because he isn't the right kind of fighter, no counter puncher is beating mayweather.

the only thing making mayweather's position on this list weak is his inactivity. i would probably put ward at #1 right now, and if he beats pavlik which i think he will, then he deserves it for sure. he has beaten most of the top fighters in his division, plus Dawson.
