Mayweather should Stay away from Canelo

That's right if Mayweather fights Canelo, he gets Mayweather'd.

    Con's
-Mayweather is past prime, almost 36 years old.

-Mayweather not as mobile as he used to be which is very crucial against someone like Canelo. Mayweather on the ropes trying to duck/weave is Canelo's wet dream.

-Mayweather doesn't have the power to keep Canelo off of him. Without the power/movement, Canelo can potentially walk Floyd down and punish him.

-Floyd did not have a good showing against Cotto at 154lb. Although Mayweather definitely won, we saw Cotto landing some big shots. 154lb was not a good weight for Mayweather.

Mayweather went life and death with Cotto...which says alot
I used to think Mayweather would beat Canelo fairly easily but not anymore.

    Canelo knocks him out cold

These "big shots" that Cotto was landing were jabs and a some body shots.......

If Canelo beats a Top fighter at his weight like Trout, I say bring on Mayweather-Canelo, because it'll be a legit big fight then.

If Floyd is what he was last May against Cotto when he returns, than he'll be fine. Watch his footwork, hand speed, athleticism, and overall ability in September 2009 and May 2010 against Marquez and Mosley, and than watch his footwork, hand speed, and athleticism/ability in his fight against Cotto.

The footwork was about the same, the hand speed was the same, his athleticism and ability were also about the same. Floyd still has I think 2 years left of top fighting, assuming he doesn't all of a sudden become shot or done over night. Who knows though???

How is losing 2-3 rounds going life and death??? It's the same s**t people said in the Hatton fight. Supposedly Floyd went life and death with Hatton, though he only lost 1-2 rounds.

If losing 2-3 rounds is going life and death with someone, than Trout wen;t life and death against Cotto too, since he lost anywhere from 2-4 rounds.

Floyd is a WW , no WW can beat him so they look to handicap him some how I guess bigger fighters at their weight is the only way they can get him beat , says a lot about how good Floyd is , Canello is dangerous only because of size and Floyds age and inactivity , if I were Floyd Id fight Bradley Guerrero and JMM , but if old Mosley can stay in with Canello then Floyd could pull out the win .

                -cons for Canelo

*Not fought anyone with a pulse/his own size.

                *Flat footed

                *Shoddy defense

                *No jab

*Tendency of telegraphing his punches though he has bought them in more as of late.

*Only looks good against a static target

*Fights in bursts I.E if you impersonate a heavybag.

*Has never fought an opponent with good speed.

Floyd would absolutely whoop the living sheeet out of Canelo.

My point is Cotto, not known for his speed was landing on Floyd too much for my taste. All I'm saying is 154lb is not a good weight for Floyd, the Cotto fight confirmed it for me.

You think Canelo is going to take those pity-pat shots from Mayweather? If Mayweather wants to beat Canelo, he is going to have to move, circle the ring non-stop, do NOT lay on the ropes. I haven't seen any of these from Floyd.

You need to watch that fight again , very little lands on him , grazes and scuffs are not landing , so much landed that he got a blood nose and not a single mark or bruise , people dont give Floyd credit for his defense , its like Pac fans give Manny points for missing like Cotto fans did against Trout and Floyd , it must be effective aggression , not bullying and landing bugger all , watch Floyds fights closely and look how many just MISS him .
