Plus his refusal to fight Floyd
Stop with the crap of Floyd retiring when ww was hot
Cotto was the man at that time but he had no interest in a fight with Floyd, watch his interview after his Mosley win to see if he wanted Mayweather
Then he loses to Margarito who then loses his next fight to Mosley who Floyd then beat
floyd has earned his well deserved title of 'the greatest ducker the boxing has ever known" for quite some time now, you cant change reality nor facts.

Simple fact is we will probably never find out who was better in the ring as they most likely will never fight and what would be the point seeing as both are way past their sell by dates.
That said, Floyd is still fighting but unless he does something truly unbelievable he simply doesnt have the time left to overhaul Pac's resume and achievments. The guy basically spent his prime as a part time fighter.

I'm at awe how he achieved 8 weight class.
Respected the way he wants to prove his greatness against his greatest nemesis JMM ( I called on JMM on winning this fight)
Well done much respect.

Floyd chose to take his prime off while he should have been busy nailing his claim to greatness to the wall. This is why his stock will probably go down after he retires, unusual for a hall of fame fighter, but it is what it is. With the exception of his bumsniffing fanbase, the media, boxing fans and sports fans with a passing interest in the sport have been slating him for not fighting the best at the right time for a long time now. It will only be brought into sharper focus once he retires and his fans find a new ringpiece to bury their tongues.
A head to head match up victory doesnt guarantee a better legacy, A fighter's bosy of work through out his career does. Hence Duran being considered "greater" than hearns despite being KTFO by hearns.
