Floyd will still duck Manny because Floyd is scared of Manny. When Manny was lying on the ground Floyd knew that Manny would beat him because Manny is the only fighter ever who could win a fight after being knocked out. Floyd would KO Manny but Manny would still win on points.

You said something that is very telling. I noticed Pac was leaping in from round 1. The aggressiveness that Roach talked about, really back fired. You cannot be that aggressive against a counter puncher on the level of JMM.

To add to that, it's the same reason the late great Manny Stewart was wrong in saying JMM should have been aggressive the last 3 rounds of their 3rd fight.

Manny's over aggressiveness really hurt him in this fight. I never thought I would see JMM knock PAc out, never in a million years.

Manny's reckless aggression cost him the fight. He got hit with the same exact punch in the round before trying to finish of Marquez after the knockdown.

He also got unlucky, and tripped into the punch over Marquez foot, but thats the name of the game, thats why his chin came up, and thats why you don't get reckless trying to finish a fighter.

Ironically, Pacquiao got knocked out cold by the same punch in the same situation as the punch that dropped Gamboa.

Really well done warquez like someone said but all that power he came in with and be so muscular at the age 40, i just hope he isn't juiced up because i would rather he lost than won via cheating.

If he is proven to be clean then he deserves another shot at floyd who must be cursing himself for not taking the fight with manny, i definitely think Floyd wasn't 100 percent sure he would beat manny and his confidence comes from that zero on his cv but damn he would have made short work of manny for just by seeing the knockout punch Marquez landed lol.

Marquez has 40 KOs in 55 fights - he ALWAYS had power, and this time he was properly conditioned for a 147 fight, look what happens, even though he came in at 143.

When he fought Mayweather, Marquez was nowhere near as ready to fight at 147, most of his additional weight was fat. He had fought Diaz before in the same year at 135 and then he moved up to 147 to fight Floyd. Big jump up and poor conditioning that time around. But this time he got it right.

Well that obviously means he'd kick the **** outta Floyd now. I mean, he did just ICE the Fighter of the Decade, who's really about the third best fighter of his era.

nicely put. Both these guys said they were gonna go for the KO and that's exactly what they did. Turned out to be the best fight of the year & KO of the year (imo) as a result.
