I don't go by what trinkets a fighter might have onetime owned. I actually use a much simpler method like who has he beaten. And beating gatekeepers in my opinion doesn't qualify you as a top ten fighter and should not put you in line to fight for the heavyweight title. But in fairness to Fury he is hardly the only one in that position.

Price has taken zero risks so far. All he does is fight old men, 40+ types like Fraudley, Skelton and now Tony Thompson.

Fury took risks by fighting Chisora and Johnson and deserves credit for winning those fights.

Right now, Fury is heads and tails above Price, like him or hate him.

When Price fights a live body, someone who poses at least some kind of threat, then we can say more about him.

Yeah, I did notice the big risk that Johnson presented. Wait a minute? No I didn't.

Just face the facts that David Price is a overrated bum he would of lost to a young Skeleton and he struggled partly with a 40 year old man for the first round says alot...
Also he got knocked down by a 17year old in the amateurs when he was 23/24years old... Knocked down by a underdeveloped Tyson Fury?
Hahaha... Sure this is the guy you're going balls deep on enjoy, enjoy.

The only thing that I said about Price was that at this point I believe he is a better fighter than Johnson. Therefore I am positive he would have given a better effort than Johnson's just looking for a payday effort against Fury. As far as who would win with Fury against Price, who knows? Because in reality they are both still highly untested.
