Can Guerrero finally get some respect on NSB? Obviously Berto isn't any great shakes but the manner in which Robert won was very, very impressive.

I had very little issue with the griminess of the fight cuz at least it was entertaining. Berto was still landing shots, but that didn't deter Guerrero at all. Ghost looked at what Ortiz did, added some B-Hop seasoning and went to work.

Berto initiated all the holding, and Guerrero took advantage of it to work inside.
it was driving me crazy hearing the commentary that guerrero was the one rough housing in the ring
and then to come on here on the boards reading peoples messages implying that guerrero was the dirty one?
they both did their dirt but berto was the one intiating the holding and wouldnt stop even after his trainer kept asking him too

I don't care what anyone says about the ugliness of the tactics, nor the referee who lost himself in the action... The relentless physicality, dirtiness; the intensity of the punches and the gruesome facial destruction made this one of the most brutal fights I've seen. It was agonizing to watch, yet utterly compelling and absorbing. Both men earned their props for heart, courage and unyielding desire for victory. That's all I have to say.

I hope they do a rematch with Kenny Bayless as the ref to give Berto a fair shot. Cause this ref is a complete idiot.
