Hatton was missing wildly with most of his punches and the one's that did land werent hurting senchenko. The mess on his face after the fight tells you that it wasn't even close. I called it anyway and money on a stoppage in the eighth ninth and tenth rounds 33-1 for ninth round stoppage very nice!!!

Never a fan of Hatton's style, but he is as genuine as they come. Pride and courage are lost on some of the poster's on here: a shame the internet gives them a voice, but there again should we be surprised that small-minded people need to dance on the failings of others to feel big.

Senchecko had the height and reach advantage that made it difficult for Hatton to fight on the inside. Also, Hatton never looked good at WW as it's harder to fight his kind of fight against the bigger WW. At 140lbs, it was a different story. He probably couldn't make 140lbs anymore anyhow.
Perhaps Hatton should have fought someone that was one level below Senchecko as it was his first fight back. Or someone not so tall (and long reach) as stated already.

I know it was only a shot Hatton, but I was somewhat impressed by Senchencko. He showed some excellent boxing skill in the second half. I thought maybe he might be improving, but then I noticed he's already 35 so he pretty much peaked.

You making too many excuses for him. He has been away and not taking care of himself. It is not easy to compete on the top and maybe he simply doesn't have it anymore
